Alexis Pantoja Perez (Granma, 1969)

Alexis Pantoja was born in Manzanillo. Pantoja obtained his undergraduate degree in the Superior Pedagogical Institute of his hometown, in the specialty of Plastic Arts Education.

He is well known for his particular use of color. His paintings display robust figures.

Pantoja has given workshops and conferences at the “Instituto Superior de Arte” (ISA), La Habana. He has also been a jury in different contests around Cuba, and has worked as a consultant and tutor at the Provincial School or Plastic Arts in Santiago de Cuba.
